Murder is a legal term. Murder is a charge brought in court. Illegal abortions may be murder or manslaughter, or some other charge. But a legal abortion can't be murder because there has been no conviction for a murder.

Aren't you some kind of originalist? Conservatives are always wanting the original intent of the Constitution to be recognized and followed. So the original originalists, the founders, were of the opinion that there was nothing wrong with the termination of a pregnancy prior to the quickening. Does this make the founders complicit in thousands of murders?
